The legal portion of this is wild. Basically a person will buy enough heirs of a property to where they own 20% which will force the sale of it. This is one of the reasons why we've lost so much in terms of land ownership.

I felt sick watching that.
I going to make sure I have a will and/or a trust with my children as beneficiaries With all of the specifics to prevent something like this from happening.
I may just go with a trust to avoid probate.

You legit need a lawyer for damn near everything. Whatever you do needs to be so legally tight, if anyone tries anything, the person in question just gets a paper in the mail that says "Nah".
How are folks supposed to even know about "Heir's Property"?
Not to mention Reverse mortgages, which is how my mom lost her home.
