Sad health update on WWE Hall Of Famer Paul Orndorff

We are very sad to learn that Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff’s health appears to have taken a turn for the worst.

His son, Troy Orndorff, posted a video of his father last month on YouTube that shows his father in a medical facility. Troy asks his father if he can remember him and if he remembers his days in the wrestling business.

The WWE Hall Of Famer overcame cancer several years ago after being diagnosed in 2011. In 2016, he was part of a class action lawsuit against WWE that alleged that wrestlers suffered “long term neurological injuries” and that WWE “fraudulently misrepresented and concealed” the nature of the injuries. The lawsuit was dismissed in 2018.

In 2018, a GoFundMe fundraiser was set up to help save his home from foreclosure and he seemed to be in good spirits at the time but it’s clear by watching the video below that he is dealing with other serious health issues.

We wish nothing but the best for one of the all-time pro wrestling greats.

I don't know much about his personal life but I just came across this article

I guess he is 71, 72 in October.

I guess this was him in 2010 for TNA?

Those 11 years really got him good.

I guess while the video is disturbing, perhaps no one has been talking to Paul. Maybe through this shock video his son is trying to get people to talk to him?

Seems like the rounds he did with cancer really slowed him down.

When he came out for WWE Shows in 2014 thats when it was noticeable and that was after his first round which was different than just a year prior

71 is old but you can still not be frail and in good health at that age so obviously ths

Looks like its only a matter of time, could be soon:mjcry:

Man he looked damn good there. Didn't he make some WWE legends return in 2014 or 2016 with the mustache and he looked a lot older, like he went from his 50s to his 70s or something.

His health deteriorated fast. I wonder how long his career would've went if he addressed the atrophy problem up front. He couldn't turn away the Hogan payday though, I guess.

His WCW was the shyt :lolbron:

After 60 for a wrestler is basically a wrap unless your name is Ric Flair.

If Roddy died young, theres no saving half of these cats.

And really, no matter what your profession, it’ll be me and you one day too.
