Depends on what you mean by "song"

It depends tho, if we're writing it and going all out, probably 2 hrs or more for one song. If we just giving throwing out ideas, we could get as many as 5-6 ideas going in 3 hrs.

I feel you...normally if me and my folks were going to a studio where we actually "paid" we would pretty much already have beats and hooks established. You don't want to go in and be wasting time putting the structure of "songs" together.
