- WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is expected to make more WWE television appearances leading up to SummerSlam, where he'll be in the corner of Triple H for his match with Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar promised Michaels on RAW that he'll be seeing him before SummerSlam.

- With Brock Lesnar's current deal scheduled to expire around WrestleMania 29 next April and only a number of dates remaining on his current contract, many people within WWE expect the company to offer him a contract extension.

Getting Lesnar to sign on for another year would be a very expensive proposition for WWE, but the company is confident they can use the former UFC heavyweight champion to sell several blockbuster matches and elevate other superstars by having them work with Lesnar.

As for Paul Heyman's future, most expect him to continue working with WWE in some capacity. It has been reported in recent weeks that his current agreement with WWE has him on board through SummerSlam.

Interesting situation, I hope he stays.

One of the biggest WWE complaints about Lesnar after his first run was that he left without giving back to the company by putting people over, after a LOT of guys put him over. Maybe part of the motivation here is to get him to finally give back to the company by elevating some guys.

But the reason I want him to stay is that Brock's segments are the best thing on the show these days, entertainment-wise.

Turn HBK heel and have him side with Lesnar and turn on HHH at SummerSlam.

what would be the point of that? another hbk/hhh feud? one is retired, the other semi retired. they should have done at least 1 hbk heel run about 5 years ago tho

I just don't know why Shawn couldn't catch that hometown beat down. It's tradition

Paul coulda easily gingerly run down and done the mean face point thing to Lesnar as he backed up the ramp laughing.

Lesnar is gonna milk these fools. Not mad at it

Shawn Michaels stated on Twitter Tuesday afternoon that he declined a behind-the-scenes role with WWE. When asked on Twitter what he would say if he was offered an executive position by WWE chief Vince McMahon, Michaels replied, "He has, and for now, I've declined."

That's how I've looked at this return too... and likely the key reason why he lost to Cena in the first match back. There was no way he was just gonna come back and beat everybody again after the way he left.

I think they should have him go over HHH at SummerSlam, maybe fukk him up again... then have him head up a team vs. an HHH team at Survivor Series. Throw some extra shyt on top of the match to make it mean something (like the person behind the Brock team wants control of the company, and Vince stands behind the H team or some silly shyt), and then have H go over in that one.

Who does Lesnar get at Mania tho'... don't want it to be Rock, don't really want it to be Taker either. I wanna see him up against someone he's never had a match with.
