Not sure if it's different where you live, but I work in HR in a hospital at a small city. $25 is LPN wage range. RN's fresh out of school start anywhere from high $32 to low $35. Senior level RN's who are highly skilled at what they do and considered a leader on the unit make anywhere from $42 to $50 an hour. Depends on how long they been there, the number of years of experience. If they were an Assistant Nurse Manager, or Nurse Manager that dropped to Senior Nurse because they didn't want to be a manager anymore, they always get put between $47 to $50. And it's hourly so they getting OT. :banderas:

Not all hospitals do this but we got levels. Like RN 1, RN 2, etc. Each one come with a raise.

Best HBCUs for nurses are often the HBCUs in Maryland and North Carolina. MD HBCUs like Morgan State, Coppin State, and Bowie State have the best starting salaries too and will extend in-state tuition to some out of state students at Coppin.
