I had things set up so that me and a friend would meet someone that we both know. I told him yesterday that we were expected to be there by 5:30 and then I sent him a message saying we should hang out before then. He agrees and then about half an hour later he sends me a message talking about he just got called up for work and he's going to be there until about 7.

The person we were going to meet doesn't have a phone and instead uses her neighbor's phone to contact us. I really don't want to phone up someone I've never even met asking for their neighbor so I can break the news but it looks like I'm going to have to. I don't even know what to say
