Both my parents are both Baby Boomers(born 1954 and 1962) and throughout my entire life I've been able to fool them with a lot of things related to the educational system and especially how to use technology to get away with a lot of things i would otherwise get in trouble for. They have pretty old school priorities. . I see my friends with younger and more tech-savvy parents and they seem to be on their children's case and are better at adapting to the changes today which means its harder for the kids to get away with much. But I understand that there are exceptions that are unique to each family but I'm just wondering how do your parents manage y'all?

My parents are respectively 42 and 39 years old than me. That may be the reason I have trouble relating to people my own age, all my siblings are significantly older than me (atleast 10 years), so I was essentially the only kid in a family of adults. Growing up raised by older parents makes you more mature and they always emphasize that life has to have a point/structure, so I knew what I wanted to be professionally since I was a young child. Unfortunately I'm not as adventurous/YOLO as a lot of my peers, I know I have all the tools to be successful in life but sometimes I wish I was a little more carefree and a little less mature :manny:
