As it says on the tin.
Planning to test drive a certain car. There is only one in my country right now, so they have to move it to the dealership I called.
They're asking for proof of income etc. before they let me drive, which is understandable. They obviously need to know there is a reasonable prospect of me buying the car.
The thing is, I know I'm not gonna buy this model though, will probably opt for a pre-owned one from 2020 with low mileage. I still want to drive the latest one though.
Have any of you ever done this? Were you upfront with the dealer (I don't plan on doing that)? Did you feel bad about it?
What do you say when the test drive is over?
