I ask this because we had some landscapers come by and do some yard work. While negotiating the price, my mom ask me if I have any money because she doesn't have enough cash, I give her what I have and were counting it in front of the landscaper guy and he makes a comment about "oh you just have money laying around" which made me nervous. He also tried to get my number but I wasn't interested, he had red eyes like he smoked weed and that comment about cash in the house are 2 red flags for me.

Back ground I've never been robbed in a home invasion situation. But I know people that have. And Ive seen way too many First 48,etc shows that makes me nervous.

To the main point I watched a talk show a long time ago, where these 2 female friends were on, one of them got robbed in a home invasion(while she wasn't there) the friend who got robbed thinks her friend set her up and wants her to take a lie detector test. The friends family did the robbery. And the 2 friends were on the phone talking and the friends family was asking her questions like are you gonna be at home, who's gonna be at the house, etc. The family robbed the friend and the friend realized after that the questions they were asking was a set up and they were casing the place. They stopped being friends, the lie detector was inconclusive because it couldnt determine whether she knew about the robbery before it happened.

Question- Have you ever been set up and pieced the warning signs together later, like damn I was set up.

Go see a therapist. You got anxiety or ocd or something.

Dude was probably tryna sell you some bud or just make sure you had his number to network. Not rob you.

95% of licks are inside jobs, meaning that someone you know hit the lick, or that they were a party to it by giving information to the person/people who did. This especially true for home invasions. People RARELY break in random houses. Most times, they know exactly what they are coming for or have an idea of what may be in the house. Robberies on the street/inside and outside of cubs are more random and spontaneous. Robberies to drug dealers are 100% inside jobs. I would say at least gas station/ corner store/ fast food robberies are at least 60% inside jobs.

In summary, be careful who you fukk with and be careful of the people that fukk with the people you fukk with, and be mindful of what you say around people Anytime you take a loss, start with those closet people to you and work outward. I've seen people who were in on the lick get hit with a pistol in the head just to make it seem like they had nothing to do with it. I've seen mothers and lil sisters get tied up and put in the closet by supposed best friends of the person they were robbing. I've seen lil brothers rob their older brothers for $7000 worth of dope. It' a cut throat world we live in.

"Oh u just got money laying around" :mjlol:
Classic sign of black business going wrong by getting too personal
I doubt he's gonna set u up tho. If he was he would've deflected from your "money just laying around"

if someone saying "wow you keep a lot of money laying around"

Leads to a multi paragraph thread about you being robbed there is something wrong.

I only named one incident that made me think that way, there are other things that happened also. This is not the first time comments like that were made to us, most of the time by friends of relatives. There were similar comments made. And as I said in the original post, I know people that have gotten set up and robbed.
