Have WWE Midcarders Ever Been More Dispensable Than Right Now?

Simple question that I've been thinking of lately. In the last two or three years we've seen WWE raid the indies while TNA has dropped in popularity and ROH hasn't grown quick enough. Now because of that we're faced with a roster full of talented people who won't take risks because they're easily dispensable due to other talent under contract waiting for their spot.

During the Monday Night Wars some of these guys would've been US, IC, European, TV or Hardcore champ in any of the three organizations. I'll go as far as to say in the pre-90s some may have even been territory champs but instead in 2017 going into 2018 they're scrapping by to get TV time because there's where else for them to get shine.

Basically my point is the death of WCW and TNA failing to maintain it's Spike TV level has adversely affected every wrestler who WWE doesn't deem worthy of getting major TV time.

So back to my question, does TSC think male midcarders are dispensable than ever or do you think different? I'm interested to see the responses.

The E don’t give a fukk about no one but like 10-12 Super Stars between the 4 brands they have

And for all that “Bu Bu Bu Bu But atleast they getting paid” shyt. Unless you in that top 10, you really ain’t pulling millions like that

Rusev is red hot. I mean...let's be real..it should be him or Nakamura as the winner of the Rumble. That's the right thing to do. The smart thing to do but they want to do things the hard way and make sure Reigns looks great in Philly again. It's a sad...a real sad situation.

I don't think everybody needs to be World Champion, but I do agree WWE's roster is grossly underutilized. I think the titles are dispensable too, Dolph just left the US title laying in the middle of the ring and walked off. Brock never shows up with the Universal* title. The IC title missed the main card of both Wrestlemania and Summer Slam. Jinder Mahal won the WWE Championship and was overshadowed by Shane vs KO.

Its never going to change, it's been like this for almost 10 years, this isn't new

It's gotten worse though, especially on Smackdown. Sometimes midcarders and tag teams will go missing for months with zero explanation. Some of these guys are really only on the main roster to help fill out a house show card but when it comes to TV and PPVs they go missing.
