Probably Bad Boy in '97. Diddy, Biggie/Ms. Wallace (though he was dead), Mase, and maybe 112... maybe.

And definitely No Limit in '97/part of '98 between Master P, Silkk, Mystikal, and Snoop.

You denying No Limit's stronghold in the game?

All those dudes went platinum multiple times on that label within 3 short years... yet none of them could have made $20 mil each in that time?

Alright then. :heh:

:rudy:

they didn't have endorsement deals like that

also they never saw royalties, master p would just give them so much money up front

:pachaha: no goddamn 112 or Silkk were making 20 mil a year back then...the reason why rap acts towards the top of the forbes list now a days make so much is because of big time touring and outside deals and endorsements...nobody is making 20mil off of album sales...back in the 90s the hip hop touring game was no where near the level it is now...there wasn't as many big venue national/international tours...that's the reason why the No Way Out and the Hard Knock Life Tour were such a big deal...today instead of one huge megatour, Wayne, Drake, and Nicki all had their own separate headlining large venue national tours

A better guess would prolly be some year during the Aftermath/Shady/G-Unit peak...Dre, Em, 50...and though he wasn't really on the label, throw Snoop during the Up in Smoke Tour or some shyt...or better yet Jimmy Iovine, because even though Baby's an artist he's earning all his money as a label head
