Ok... the guy singing looks like a 33 year old ugly women and he's singing about wanting a 16 year old girl. The music video make things even worst with him peeping through the 16 year old girls window and he sing about "Picking her up and taking her into the night"... umm.. I think that's called kidnapping. lol

Actually... legend has it that when Benny Mardones was making this song he had the music done but Benny and his writing partner couldn't come up with lyrics for the song... but then one of Benny's friends came over and brought his daughter with him... when Benny's friend left... Benny's roommate and writing partner said... "Man... your friends daughter is really cute"... then Benny turned to him and said... "COME ON MAN... SHE'S JUST SIXTEEN YEARS OLD!"... then Benny's writing partner didn't hear him so he said... "what did you say"... Benny said again... "SHE'S JUST SIXTEEN YEARS... LEAVE HER ALONE"... then Benny's writing partner looked at him and said..."That's it... those are the lyrics... SHE'S JUST SIXTEEN YEARS OLD!"... "The lyrics are going to be about a older guy in love with a sixteen year old".

Benny Mardones and his writing partner finished writing the song and it went on to become a huge hit and rest is history.
