Has Anyone Seen "It Follows" Yet?

I got a chance to check it last weekend, and while there are some flaws, I gotta admit



I actually really liked it. If you're someone who hates ambiguous movies you'll probably sh*t on it in certain instances. For me being a big horror movie fan, this was a real nostalgic flick, lots of homage to John Carpenter and other late 70s-early 80s movies specifically with how it was shot and the music. It has a good amount of suspense and it keeps you in the movie because of the overall premise than someone or something is always following you. Again, it's not perfect and has its flaws, but if you get a chance definitely give it a watch

It was good but wasn't perfect. I liked the cinematog and the soundtrack. I liked the "its constantly coming for you paranoid" vibe but I have to say I wasn't really ever that afraid. I also got an "under the skin" vibe with the sex stuff.

i thought it was a solid horror movie you can definitely see the big time Carpenter influence which is a good thing since he was a genius in the genre....like has been mentioned soundtrack was very well done as well as cinematography. Pretty suspenseful, the cast was solid I want to see more from this talented director

it really stuck with me..i wasn't sure how i felt about the whole pool scene as i watched it but i pre-ordered it

lol that pool scene was kinda fukkin' dumb. Cuz i remember homeboy from the skeleton key specifically mentioning that the thing following was "smart" but that it moved slow. It was a solid movie, but I don't see myself rewatching it much in the future. Friend zoned last in line to get p*ssy homeboy had the right idea going to all those hookers, I would've gone on hooker fukking spree. Probably would've contracted a multitude of diseases but at least you'd be safe for a little while

According to the director it was supposed to be a dumb completely ineffective idea.

The whole movie is supposed to feel like a nightmare which is why everything is weird and kinda off kilter....like the chick in the first scene wearing high heels for no reason....the e-reader, when characters have 90's style touch button house phones, no flat screens and every movie and TV show is black and white. It was supposed to be the kind of random shyt you'd think of in a nightmare, which usually works because it's a nightmare, but in this case it obviously didn't.
