Has anyone played Guild Wars 2 yet?

I'm so tempted to buy it but I don't want to be suckered into another MMO thats going to fail in a month. People are giving it great reviews so far though has anyone got a chance to play it yet?

The thing I hate about MMO's are, on the surface when you first start it can be and amazing. Then you hit max level and you're like why did I buy this. At least this doesn't have a 15$/month fee, which makes me more likely to buy it. I'm a hardcore PVPer, have you tried that aspect of the game out at all?

I'm enjoying the game so far. Haven't tried the PvP yet but if its anything like the first one, I expect it to be really good. The only negative I have so far is that I prefer the skill system in the first one. In 2 you have to reach a certain level to be able to have the ability to unlock certain skills whereas in the first one you just had to capture the skill or learn it from a trainer.

True. I played Rift when it came out. Got it for half off so I'm like why not.

After a month I was just like meh

It had a monthly fee too .

thats the thing though, WoW was fun for a while (i think i played that shyt for 5 years ) GW1 was fun cuz it was my first MMO and that pvp-----mannn,

I got gw2 but ima have to get halfway thru leveling before i have a real opinion, shyt was almost overwhelming cuz i been out the MMO game for bout 2 years.....

I played WoW since its beta quit at level 80. SWG was my first MMO. I played SWTOR, the pvp was fun but there is absolutely no end game and their world sucks. Played the first guild wars and didn't really get into it. This shyt does look dope as fukk though. A lot of depth to classes and tons of unconventionality to it.
