Has anyone here ever used an analog synthesizer?

I had a moog little Phatty years ago but I had to sell it in the 2008 economic down turn :mjcry:
I was just getting good at programming my own presets too:sadbron:

I have

I got a DeepMind 12:

Which I used for about a year but I realized it wasn’t suitable for my workflow. I only owned an Ableton Push 2 and thought adding an analog synth would add more textures to my sound and creative process but I don’t know I found it slowed me down. Got too caught up constantly trying to program sounds and exploring the capabilities of what the synth can do instead of just creating music. Sold it and continue to just work with soft synths and my Push :yeshrug:

I do think you should add a few pieces of gear at different points of your producing journey just to see what works for you. If you’re gonna drop 1-3k on something, make sure you do your research and physically PLAY with it before purchasing.

:gladbron: I heard the deepmind can sound just like the Juno 106. Edit: I get it.
