First off, S/O to ALL of the Black wrestlers who did their thing and repped the culture over the past year. 2023 was a great year for brehs & brehettes in the squared circle, so let's take a minute to big up some of our personal favorites.

For me, the choice was going to be either "The EST" Bianca Belair, Shane TayGOAT, or the Almighty Bobby Lashley, but then I decided to give props to the man who took putting on for the culture to a whole other level. Big S/O to, in my opinion, the most important Black wrestler of 2023, the founder of ASÉ Wrestling, Bro. Darius Lockhart!

She is, her story with Billie Starkz and Lexy Nair on there has been the big highlight of ROH. Killing it with the matches and the story.

She’s going to be brought up to Collision whenever she drops the ROH women’s title. I’m guessing that’s at the next PPV but I thought it was going to happen at Final Battle last month when she would drop the title so who knows when it will really be.

Bianca vs Iyo in Puerto Rico was a sneaky great match. Easily the best women's match of the year in the E for me.

1. Brought a historic 420 day reigns passed Wrestlemania
2, Won, again at Fastlane and cashed in on after a grueling triple threat
3. Beat Iyo's team at Wargames
4. 9-1 against members of Iyo's faction all 2023 (if you count Asuka only AFTER she joined)
