the halo series done went the wrong direction storywise with Halo 2. theres no coming back after that retarded ass plot twist with the Covenant thinking they was just protecting a sacred ring bullshyt.
lets see how more retarded it goes with this forerunner shyt in halo 4.
Have to admit, I love me some Halo....but the way Bungie told these stories (In the games) was just fukking terrible.
You have to go out and read a bunch of books and comics and shyt to understand what the fukk is going on.....Oh wait, yeah, the terminals.....which aren't even out in the fukking open you have to find them shyts. And they are fukking esoteric anyways.
I didn't really like the Halo story, or even really understand it at all, until I beat Reach a few weeks ago (My Xbox has been fukked, I just got a new one, that's why it took me so long to play it). After I beat this one, I said "fukk it, gonna dig deeper" and found the Halo Wiki....
Truthfully, the Halo mythology is actually crack. It's just as if not more deep as things like Mass Effect, Star Wars, Star Trek, etc. It's a nice little sci-fi universe. Like I said though, you don't really get this while playing the games. I understand that a lot of this was probably due to Bungies personal philosophy on storytelling in games, but still, can I at least know why we have a fukking space station rising out of earth?
The Arbiter is actually a real nicca...................in the EU....
During the game though, I was mad, like "da fukk am I playing with this Elite for?" And why are they warring on their own kind all of a sudden? Who are these gorilla-lookin' niccas? Why the Elites sound like Alfred all of a sudden?
Didn't know what a fukking "Reclaimer" was until like a week ago. Spent 10 years, beating the games multiple times, without understanding what that meant.
