As the title indicates, this is about the teams in all five big leagues that are defining the 2020s. What this means is, every season that begins with each sport's 2020 season...

We know MLB and MLS are the only two sports who's entire season takes place in one calendar year. We know NBA and NHL start at the end of one calendar, but the next calendar that the season ends, is what those two leagues consider that season. Example: the 2019-20 season in NBA and NHL, was their "2020" season; 2020-21 was their "2021" season, etc...

And we know the NFL is the last sport on a calendar year, and their postseason commences the following January/February. But we realize the NFL season is based on September thru December. So the 2020 season, even though Super Bowl 55 took place in February 2021, we all know that's the Super Bowl that represented the NFL's 2020 season...

So with the NFL wrapping up here in two weeks, everybody's league has now played 5 complete seasons, half a decade. So we're weighing the Top 5 teams of the decade in each sport so far, based on who has had the most postseason winning. Because that's how teams of the decade are defined, they ain't defined by division titles or regular season wins...

I for one think 2020s sports have been exciting and this era has created its own aura and culture like every other era before it!
