On Monday's RAW, WWE set the stage for Triple H and Brock Lesnar to wrestle each other for a third time at next month's Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

Originally, WWE's plans called for Brock Lesnar to attack The Rock the night after WrestleMania 29 to and build to a match at SummerSlam (not WrestleMania 30, as previously reported). Lesnar and Triple H's rubber match would have taken place later this year.

The Rock's injury at WrestleMania led WWE to change gears and go right into the third chapter of the Lesnar vs. Triple H feud.
:king: of:king:'s

CM Punk will be taking some much-needed time off and might not be back on television until this summer. Punk has been burnt out and working through several nagging injuries in recent months.

Meaning he'll be back by 2 weeks....

They actually have a decent level of 2nd tier wrestlers they can promote, Ziggler just needs a small winning streak and could be a good face...

You have Rollins and Ambrose who could handle the main event scene with minimal tinkering with their characters....

Hell if you wanna hotshot someone, NXT has Leo Kruger (almost guarantee he'll be a big thing) and an ass of talent who will be mid to upper mid-card talent like The Wyatt Family, Kassius Ohno, Pac, Bo Dallas, Corey Graves (dude has a lot of potential to be a main eventer one day)....

So actually the WWE is getting new people ready, it's just most of the ones that have a lot of potential to do something big are in NXT to me...

They'd have to change their whole philosophy on only making 4 people matter at time for any of this to happen though.

Yeah....but like I said they have the talent readily available.....so as with all things in the E it just comes down to needing to book good as a whole instead of concentrating at the top and not rounding out the rest of your card...

Earlier today, WWE confirmed the first match for next month's Extreme Rules pay-per-view: Dolph Ziggler defending the World Heavyweight championship against Ryback and Alberto Del Rio in a 3-way match.

On Monday's RAW, Triple H will answer Brock Lesnar's steel cage match challenge. WWE Champion John Cena vs. Ryback also appears to be a lock for the show.

Other matches rumored for Extreme Rules include:

* Team Hell No vs. 2 Members of The Shield (Tag Title Match)
* Kaitlyn vs. Nikki Bella (Divas Title Match)
* Mark Henry vs. Sheamus
* Randy Orton vs. Big Show
