I used to listen to this shyt on repeat forever. :wow:

GZA a real one for letting duke shine on his own record on GZA's solo project, and Ka most definitely delivered.

I spent like 3 years looking for anything else from Ka after I heard this record.

When Iron Works dropped, I didn't put 2 and 2 together that it was son from Firehouse until months later because Ka was rapping with a smoother voice by that point.

Listening to him on Firehouse, I thought he was a wild Dominican nikka for some reason.

He sounded like he'd cut you in a heartbeat.

lotta humility for a legend to let an "unknown" mc to rock solo on this

ka is in the same vein as gza....

each bar is surgical and they put thought in every syllable

and they dont rhyme for the sake of riddling

Gza been real, he gave Killah Priest the closing track on one of the GOAT albums ever while Wu-Tang was in it's prime.

Takes a REAL ONE to do that. Priest said that even Rza was like "forreal Genius :gucci:" and was hating on him for a minute.

Ka talks about it here, I don't know the timing since it's been a while since I watched:

He basically says that he came in to do a verse because a friend of his knew the Gza. When Gza heard him go in he just told him "keep going if you can" and Ka didn't even know it would end up being his own track with Gza just doing the chorus.

Rae voice "and the genius he just the genius it's self explanatory".

PROTOOLS was a dope ass album too. Roc Marci, Rza, Masta Killa all killed it and Gza always on point.
