100$ price is understandable and justified.

But it will not reflect the quality and the price will seem even more ridiculous after we end up buying 3 more copies of the game’s version by the end of the decade.

Game will no doubt be one of the most sold games of all time at $70. GTA V made $1 billion in revenue in its first 3 days selling 17 million copies. The hype around this game feels even bigger. They'll definitely make a profit without hiking up the price but we know how it is, they'll maximize profits and up the price

Will be interesting to see how publishers position their tentpole releases around GTA. Can’t wait to see the last big AAA game that releases before it drops and the first that will release after.

I think anyone putting out a big budget game or even something like Hades 2 or Silksong (for the bigger indies titles) will want at least a two week gap on either side

I literally dreamed about this last night. I dreamed I was somehow in NYC and there were big billboards with GTA VI-Trailer 2 on it everywhere and then when I went to go watch the video the shyt got stuck at buffering. We're never getting this game .

Nah, the marketing cycle is probably going to be short. A lot of games do this now. 2K is under the same Take-Two umbrella and they start marketing their game about a month before release.

By May they will either ramp up promo (which includes a second trailer) or announce a delay. It has to be within the first week of May because that’s Take Two next earnings call meeting. They have no choice but to say wether VI is delayed or not.
