I'm that one dumbass still holding out hope for GTA 5 single player DLC
i don't even know what logic would compel you to believe this was ever going to be a thing. majority of this games players didn't complete the single campaign. Rockstar can see the stats directly. I've been saying this for 10 years :mjlol:

there was an influx of new players over the years who just went straight to online. online sustains this game and has made it relevant for a decade. a solo campaign is so far out the picture man :dead:

i been told people to brace for dissapoitnment and expect nothing more.

ain't shyt to anticipate when they are locking day one content behind the sub pay wall on the 10 year old game

nothing about shyt like that tells you that the next game is about pleasing gamers

they nerf the heists and claim it's to promote people playing other content when it is because cayo heist was the best way to generate in game money without shytty grinding for peanuts.

they are punishing people for still playing a ten year old game without falling into their micro transactions

there's absolutely nothing good coming next. don't want to see people making a big fuss later. the time to steer the course of the next version away from it's greedy trajectory was now not later. haven't touched the game since they introduced + just on principle.

I would have been day one for the next one but now I know I will just be watching the fallout when it drops. it is absolutely going to be a shyt show.
Do you blame micro transactions or rockstar games?

On the flip side maybe all this revenue gta 5 is generating we will have a ground breaking revolutionary gta 6 game?

Just like a lot of franchises from the early 2000s, they are played out and stale.

The vast majority of people who really want GTA 6 are probably the ones still pumping money into gta5.

I blame rockstar

you might get a groundbreaking game that is unplayable without submitting to micro transactions so you won't get to enjoy it without paying more and more to play. that's what they are aiming for. features locked behind paywalls and endless grinding that forces players to just drop money. that is already where they have taken the current game. there's no surprises coming all can be forecast.

what this game needed was a worthy competitor.

You can't blame the snake for being a snake

They are Rockstar the business company.. And if investors see you making 100 million a day, they ain't trying to hear how you can make 90 million a day but look out for the gamers.... Oh hell nah

Now if they get down to 90 and you say "it's cause you abandoned your gamers".... or if the gamers make such an uproar that it makes national news like "fix madden franchise" hashtag did...... Then yea.. Maybe investors will throw you something.

But the dudes making these games are NOT the ones making any type of decisions

Gamers still don't understand how business works :laff:

They making on average $800 million on that game PER YEAR

Damn straight and that's with the help of YouTube content creators pushing more of GTA content on their channels over the years

Content creators help these gaming companies more than ever it seems to milk games

Watch the video; she makes a good point able all that profit going to produce maybe the next greatest game ever.

People are demanding that GTA 6 to have inside areas in a bunch of the buildings.

All that detail cost money and time.

Yeah idk about all that, their track record for the past decade says they're content with doing the bare minimum as long as they profit. Abandoning DLC, half ass remakes/remasters, etc.

RDR2 was the exception and the brains behind that game are no longer working there.

Well,
I'm going to be a dad by the time this comes out :francis:
Don't hold your breath. They're not gonna come out w/ it until that shyt not selling anymore. It's still in the top 50.

I want this shyt to come out too, but I understand. What reason would they have to put another title out if the one that's a decade old is still selling like hotcakes. That could fukk up the whole op.

Edit: tbh, I'm not in a hurry. I just hope they are using this time to fine tune everything. If it's any indicator, GTA and RDR build off of each other, so barring any glitches/bugs the quality is gonna be there, so you don't have anything to worry about in that regard
