if it does get delayed, I wouldn't be shocked if it's just for a couple of months. But to sell it right before Christmas would be ideal...

Without looking it up. I feel like R* mostly releases their games either fall or spring. It’s not coming spring 2025. They like to promote for a long time. And they’ve been radio silent (which is not a bad thing, they’re cooking up a classic). Earliest is fall 2025, but I highly doubt it. R* always delay their games. So with that in mind, I think the most realistic release date is spring or fall 2026.

The old leaks had ps4 in the code I believe. They didn’t announce it for that console though. Which leads me to believe somewhere along development. They scrapped the last gen versions. Or (highly unlikely) they developed with the ps4 as the base. With the idea that If they could max out the ps4. They would have a whole lot of headroom for the next gen consoles, and they can add on from there.

I never really got the hype if GTA.

Not saying I think the game is bad or trash by any means.

But I never thought it was a dope as people stan it.

I don’t even like it more than RD

I’m curious to see more videos on the next one when it drops but for not this game isnt really a “must have” for me

With the exception of GTA IV, all GTA mainline games released around the fall mostly Oct with a couple before or after.

If they keep the tradition, I could see GTA VI releasing in the fall holiday period which imo is perfect. Though I suspect they might want to release it in the Spring to have the theme/season of the game in sync with people IRL. Playing GTA VI while it's hot outside.
