The intro of SA had CJ coming from Liberty City too

I think Rockstar North's headquarters is in NY though.

Like @Barnett114 said I think it he will obviously be a main character within the story but not the protagonist.

It’s obvious that the game will be in Vice City but the big question now is will it be in the 80’s or the modern era. I personally think that they will have the first half of the game in the 80’s and then the latter half in the present. They did something similar already with RDR 2.

Yeah, he does sounds like he would potentially be the antagonist.

I think it's a placeholder name and he's a Lance Vance / Ryder type of antagonist, not a huge part of the story but is featured in it enough.

if this Vice City and Mexican Cartel leaks are true I hope we get to see Martin Madrazzo, Lester and possibly Michael in the game (the 3 protagonists voice actors acting like they're STILL involved with Rockstar, Michaels voice actor was pissed off by MrBossFtw for posting leaks)

Enjoyed my time there but... They also have lots of casinos which would differentiate it from nightclub hub Vice City. Either way.... This shyts taking place in southern Florida. Wonder if they scouted the swamps.

Would prefer modern. Because the story would be more Latino/Black(Black and Brown unity yall!! JK) in the 80s Miami was still mainly cacs(someone can correct me) and I don't care for another Scarface like story.

Also Vice City in the 3D universe was stupid small. You can use Little Haiti and Havana as examples which were the only two residential neighborhoods of mainland Vice City and they were right NEXT to each other.

Meanwhile in real life....

So yea the HD rendition of Vice City is going to obviously be bigger. And hope they include hoods like Liberty City, Overtown and others.

See just to let y'all know I was never saying they should add FT Lauderdale because it's a city with crime (of course not) just needs to be in to give Rockstar and the fans a lot out of SOUTH FLORIDA, making the city area three times as big as it would be with VC Alone, GTA IV had NYC AND New Jersey, so it feels like something they would do.

Point is... It'll give the rural areas purpose unlike GTA 5. GTA 5 it was just LS to the south and the north was nothing but rural area it was like what "where are we even going"? I think GTA SA has the best map in the series. The rural areas were like "rest stops" between cities.

From all the leaks all these years it's pretty much confirmed the game goes from past to "present" and is set in Vice City plus a hispanic country. All the resume leaks point to this. People have been designing cars/areas that age over time etc. Any other rumors are based on nothing.

I just hope the ONLINE is absolutely fukking fire. I was SO hyped for the MP but when I saw how LONG it took for shyt to start and the overall clunky slow gameplay not being really tailored for good death match I was done. A dream game would be a MP that loads almost instantaneously due to the SSD's we'll be equipped it and gameplay that plays as smooth as Uncharted 4.
