You knew it was coming. I probably shouldn't of made the game until the GTA 5 suckfest died down but fucc it.

Please, do not include online multiplayer as part of your reasoning for either of them.
Ok, leh geh ih JT!!

Story:

GTA 5- Unlike previous GTA games, GTA 5 lets us play under 3 different characters, all with different stories, lifes, personalities and backgrounds. You have Franklin, the young brotha tryna make it out the hood before its too late, michael, the middle aged dude going thru a midlife crisis, and Trevor, a crazy redneck who runs a multimillion a year meth business. The game revolves around these 3 but what ties them together is they all pull of heist for cash..dont wanna say too much to spoil the game since it just came out.

San Andreas- San andreas too, did something no other GTA did before it. While we didn't get to play as multiple characters, we got to play as a black dude(finally). The story of is late 20s Carl "CJ" Johnson returns back to the streets of Los Santos after his mother is murdered. On his way there he is framed by a corrupt cop which is one of the things that forces him to stay in Los Santos. Nice, simple and cliche, just the way we like it.

Winner- Tie

Supporting Characters:

GTA 5- Bringing back the fun, witty and wacky humor of the ps2 era GTA games, the supporting characters of GTA 5 are pretty entertaining to say the least. You have the corrupt FBI agents, the computer nerd, a wacky white dude tryna get weed legalized, and Franklins best friend who thinks being in a gang is a positive honor and that he should treat it as such. This is just touching the surface.

San Andreas- From your gangbanging OG older brother and his homies yall grew up with, to a blind triad mob boss, to a crazed hippie stuck in the 70s, to a undercover witty govt. agent San andreas offered tons of different characters, many of them becoming fan favorites of their own.

Winner- San Andreas

Weapons:

GTA 5: GTA 5 brings back our beloved ammu nation and its shooting range. Only this time you get to fully customize your weapons. You can add a flashlight, silencer, extended clip, handle, scope and even change the color. Not to mention you can hold more than one type of weapon at once..

San Andreas- San andreas was the first gta game to bring us silencer pistols, and even let us use dual pistols or a dual sawn offed shotguns, which in a way felt like cheating with how easy it was to kill enemies with them. With that being said GTA 5 didnt add dual weapons, but they added silencers(on every gun) plus more..

Winner- GTA 5

Voice Actors:

GTA 5: Much like GTA 4 before it, GTA 5 doesn't feature a cast of famous voice actors, instead rockstar prefered to use unknown or up and coming actors to voice their characters.

San Andreas: What more can you say about a game whos voice cast includes, Samuel Jackson, Mc Eiht, Clifton Powell, and Big Worm? Well you can say it also includes The Game(who was more up and coming back then) Ice-T, James Woods, Kid Frost, YoYo, Chris Penn, and Charlie Murphy.

Winner- San Andreas

Vehicles:

GTA 5: Cars in GTA 5 are pretty much any and everything you would see if you go to Los Angeles in 2013. Lowriders, rusted hoopties, to lambos and buggatis. Lets not forget the bringing back of fighter jets, helicopters, and the new edition submarine.

San Andreas: Much like GTA 5, San Andreas let you drive anything from lowriders to high end sports cars or let you fly around the state in a Fire Jet.

Winner- GTA 5. Added everything from San Andreas plus more.

Customization:

GTA 5: After being criticized for the lack of customization in GTA 4, Rockstar brings it back, new and improved in GTA 5. Each of the 3 characters is customizable with their own looks, haircuits and tattoos. Jewerly is also bought back. The fun doesn't stop there however, the option to customize your cars is back.
Stop by a Los Santos customs and hook up any ride you want, change the color, wheels, the honk to your car and even give it blue tire smoke. If thats not enough you can upgrade the engine and even put on bullet proof tires. Almost makes you forget that you can customize your guns as well.

San Andreas: San Andreas was the first game that really bought us the option to change our clothes fully, and not just change from full outfit to full outfit. There were 6 stores CJ could go to and splurge in, as well as buy jewerly. Tattoos and haircuits are also included. There is a gym in the game, where the player can lift weights and make CJ mike tyson sized, as well as several food joints where you can eat day and night and turn him into a Big Smoke clone. You also get to customize your cars, add hydrolics to them if desired and change the interior color as well. However, you can not do bikes or guns.

Winner- Close one, but I say GTA 5. While San Andreas had better character customization, GTA 5 has better vehicle customization(despite not being able to change interior color) and lets you customize your beloved weapons.

Setting:

GTA 5: Set in modern day Los Angeles, the player can chill on the beach, in the projects, in hollywood, or go deer hunting all in one day. If thats not enough for you, then try diving underwater and exploring the ocean, just make sure you look out for the sharks.

San Andreas: Set in 1992 California, the games setting is heavingly based on the west coast hip hop scene at the time. You can literally see the orange sky when you look up in Los Santos. This game also lets you explore desert towns, and countryside. If you get bored doing that, then you can go to the 2 other cities in the state, San Fierro(based on San Franciso) or Las Venturas(based of Las Vegas). While there are 2 other cities, the only city that really captures any type of atmosphere and makes you feel like you're really there is Los Santos. Yes Las Venturas has the Las Vegas strip, but dont forget the game was set in 1992, outside of that strip, the city is boring and useless and desert. While thats still true today, you can multiply that times 5 for 1992.

Winner- Tie.

Radio Station:

GTA 5: All the modern day music juggernauts you hear in real life are in the game, from Rihanna to Kendrick Lamar to Future. They even threw in classic stations that can take you back to the 80s pop/rock scene or the the 90s gangster rap scene.

San Andreas: Classic music, full of classic songs that we never grow tired of listening to. Even tho the game is based in 1992, they still had classic music stations in the game that'll take you back to the 80s and even 70s. From Slick Rick to George Clinton to The Chronic and Ice Cube. Radio Los Santos(San Andreas version) may be the best radio station in any video game, ever.

Winner- San Andreas

Side activities:

GTA 5: This game gives us many things to do when bored, from seeing a movie, to watching tv at our mansions, to playing tennis and golf(which are very good in this game). Not to mention you can hunt animal and scuba dive, fully exploring the very detailed ocean in the game. When you're done doing this you can head the strip clubs, make it rain and literally take strippers home with you. After waking up from the wild night, make sure to get on the internet and check to see if your stocks are still going up, or if its time to trade them.

San Andreas: Playing basketball in the grove, taking Karate classes in San Fierro, or gambling your money away in Las Venturas? Which one do you want to spend the day doing? While this all sounds fun, the truth is, the basketball in the game was trash, and the karate classes last like 2 minutes before you're 100% done with them, and they also suck. The only fun thing I could spend more than 10 minutes doing is gambling. Play blackjack and roulette and make your self a fortune. Just remember to use that money to go and buy guns, you're going to need them when you get back to Los Santos and take over every hood one by one.

Winner- Tie. It all depends on what you prefer. If you prefer the glitz and glamour and trading stocks, and just doing what rich people do, then you won't get bored with GTA 5. If you're stuck in the 90s and want to live your life like a early 90s west coast hood movie, and literally take over other hoods during the day, and cheating on your girlfriend with your other girlfriend at night, then you will never get bored with San Andreas
