How is this possible?

This is actually pretty common, a structure standing where everything else around it burned, they say sometimes the flames leap houses, but yea, I don’t truly understand how things like that happen. Like how do you return to live alone in a burnt out neighborhood?

This is a horrible look for dems. Bass cut fire dept funding and has been a disaster. Then sheared on a trip to Ghana during all this :snoop:

Democrats have complete control of california and they have destroyed it. Nobody could say otherwise

the thing is January isn't "fire season" go look on the calfire archive. wild fires in january are rare.

this is being brought on by some of the strongest winds LA has ever gotten.

6 wildfires. Very suspicious :leostare:

a few months ago, there were 3 wildfires at the same time around OC and IE. 1 was arson and another was caused by utility workers. I‘m curious to see what caused these LA ones when the investigation kicks off.
I was watching the news last night and they said it was most likely man made. Now the question is, was it intentional, accidental, or negligence. The Hollywood hills one in my opinion may be intentional. Although it is between the two other major fires, so it could be a ember that carried over a long way. Either way the HH one looks like it might be really bad. At night and no water, its like 2 blocks from HW blvd.

Whole neighborhoods have to be rebuilt. That is going to take forever. The State should buy the land next to the ocean clean it up and turn it into a park. Either way I don't think the rich are going to come back anytime soon. The real winners are going to be the people that had mansions for sale and were having a hard time selling them. Those will get bought up quick now if they are out of the fire area. There was already a housing shortage. SMH.

And if the budget was higher the result would still be the same, you wanna blame somebody but if the winds were truly 100 mph nothing was stopping that

Its still a bad look bruh...:francis: regardless of winds and embers.... people was literally complaining that there's no water in the literal fire hydrants... wtf...:dead:

they're gonna uncover some failures and fukkups that could have prevented this from getting as bad as it did

i'm sure it was mostly unavoidable, but i would imagine the next couple months are pretty controversial. this is BAD
