This graph is skewed. It doesn't take into account that for 2002 its only 2 years removed from the dot com crash and only 1 year removed from 9/11, when the markets crashed again. In 2012, we've had great markets for a few years. Those with wealth saw the biggest rise as their assets values shot up along with the market.


Edit: Missed the part where it says excluding capital gains

The jobs that uneducated, usually white, males had are gone. Construction, manufacturing, etc. fukk em.

Plenty of money to be made with computer skills though
