his criticism of the food is on point. those biscuits are TRAGIC. if anyone reading has never had a popeyes biscuit in the 21st century, go grab an air hockey puck and take a bite out of it. pretty much the same thing. the last couple of times we got a bucket the shyt was overcooked so bad my drumstick snapped in half. breading hanging on for dear life. dirty rice is garbage. red beans and rice is garbage. whens the last time popeyes even sold jambalaya? 10 damn years ago?
the chicken sandwiches are decent, way better than that shyt at wendys or chick-fil-a. love that brioche bread too... but half the time the employees forget to squirt the sauce on it
i was called a big back for this, but i have no shame in getting a sandwich at popeyes in the drive-thru and then driving over to mcdonalds for the fries. all of popeyes sides are mediocre now, so what is a fat guy to do?
