Watching sports of all these years I feel that this practice is being used more than ever before....


Its like the media (Some damn near 90 percent) try to get something out of you to give them something to talk/bytch about of the upcoming week....



And when the player gives them nothing (beast mode) they seem to find issue with that






Then the media starts to bytch about the players not giving them nothing




They want robots but when your being who you are they come down on you for not being tom brady or payton or you cant be yourself like cam



and with the lebron thing this week i think he did not know what to say or maybe he really did not have the total story and his actions and what ever he says can start a shyt storm and he knows because what ever he says or do no matter how small would be beat over and over....


they even had a topic on first take about his fukking bike that had king james on it



this type of " Journalism " would make me want to choke some one

modern-day sports are extremely "story-line" driven. Hero's and villains are needed. The more i think about it, sports journalists/reporters are nothing but professional "gossipers"

I even remember they was trying to read lips .......then i think that was around the time players started covering they mouths with their jerseys

then when the players stop talking to the media and started giving those canned answers the talking heads started the "what i think he meant was' and made it sound gospel

next thing was the kevin durant thing where said he would go to LA and durant said he was lying and he just wanted a peaceful year stop starting stuff just to have something to talk about then got all but hurt and got his momma into it talking about i can speak to your moms nikka i was like

The internet slowly but surely ended up killing all facets of journalistic standards. That's all it really boils down to. Journalism has lost all integrity across the board. It's not isolated to the sports world.

National media is useless for good coverage of sports. ESPN is the leader and they're too agenda driven and too concerned with filling time. They create stories not report them. And the rest of the sports journalism world kinda follows what they create .
If you want decent reporting stick with beat writers and your local sports guy. They're more professional, and have better relationships with guys than national folk do.
