Really was the peak of the franchise. Added so much extra content to Gold/Silver/Crystal. I wish more remakes had the effort and care that was put into the Gen 2 remakes.

They fukked up by not using the vs seeker. Them lame ass pokegear phone calls weren't cutting it

Prepare for the horrendous leveling curve. Lot of shyt pokemon roaming around and barely giving out exp points

All the johto mon are in fukking Kanto and are low level as shyt by the time you get there


I enjoyed the hell out of heart gold though, got over 300 pokemon caught

The only issue is that up until recent gens, the Meganium & Typhlosion lines got HOED in terms of move pool. They had no decent coverage at all
