The internship is specifically going to consist of working with the youth, teaching/mentoring them through the world of fitness..Interview is today at 11:30am and I gotta "demonstrate your examples of athletic, fitness, and sports based drills you would implement into your curriculum."

If ya'll were in my shoes, what are a few things you would implement into your curriculum?

How old are the children?

My daughter (4 years old) went to a sports program at the Y and they integrated soccer techniques like dribbling and kicking in a goal. Then the kids had a mini game. They also did a game where they had a bunch of cones and one set of children were the "builders" and the other half were the demolition team so the builders would have to put the cones up as fast as the demolition team knocked them down. The kids had a lot of fun.

I think incorporating any type of sports drills in the mix is a good look but just make sure it's a sport that you're fond of so you can enjoy it too.

i would mainly work with body weight because they are young, plus you should think of some excercises that are appealing to children/youth in the sense that they are challenging and fun to do.

What? You should already have answers for that? If you really don't know what to think, just get a copy of Ohio State football program's pre-season workouts and push that on the kids. For probably 0.01% of the kids, you will be setting them up for a successful career in the NFL. The rest will hate you and will hate gym class forever.
