Good documentaries about African and Black american history in color?

Trying to find some non-fiction about Africa that isn't all about wildlife

Trying to find some docs about Black America that doesn't focus on slavery. Smithsonian's America in color had some good footage, but I'd like to see a whole series or film focusing on black people.
