-They originally wanted Scott to be the one to break the streak
-Goldberg wouldn't do it, and called his agent and lawyer into the office
-Goldberg told Russo and Bischoff if wrestling was real, Scott would never beat him
-Russo told him "okay fine, go tell Scott that", Goldberg wouldn't do it

And... Where is your source?
Russo wasn't there when Goldberg's streak was broken. Steiner would've been a good choice though. TBH Nash wasnt a bad choice, but the way they handled it after was bad.

timestamped, Disco was on the booking committee at the time, you might be right about timeline but he still politicked Scott out of a win/push

Nash was the booker then and Russo was 9 months from joining, Goldberg prob refused to lose to Steiner later

Goldberg is one of those guys who thinks that just because he played football, in his head that means he can beat anyone's ass :mjlol:

take a look at the backflip Goldberg does at the 2 min mark. Also keep in mind he use to do a lot of judo like trips and throws in his matches

now look at how he picks up Bautista at the 15 second mark like he’s picking up a toddler. I really believe Goldberg 2004 and young would legitimately fold a lot of people. That man was strong on another level

Think this was during his 2nd "streak" (If you can call it that and hell, they might need to be its own thread lol.) where they were trying to recreate the original streak. This makes sense as they started pushing Steiner heavy towards the 2nd half of 2000.
