I been dreaming for DBZ movie ever since 2000. I was following the rumors ever since the infamous Mr. Z surfaced the internet.
Only for 9 years later we get Dragomball Evolution...
Why oh why? It had so much potential. fukking Fox and their blatant disrespect for foreign culture.
The moment they casted that emo whitr kid to play Goku it was a wrap. They tried to Americanize it. Blatant copy off Spiderman too with that highschool bullshyt.
What makes it worst. The guy who wrote it was a brother. We'll he wrote drafts but they butchered his shyt. And he faced the blame for it.
If you're gonna make a DBZ you're gonna have to be ballsy with it..don't try to water down anything.
But of course we got Evolution.
Even The Last Airbender at stayed faithful to the source material. It was just poorly executed.
I strongly believe this could work with the right people and one who appreciates and understands the Anime culture. People like the Wachowski brothers.
This video is corny but it's faithful. It looks like shyt because its done by Amateurs.
I respect them for this hopefully they get that budget they need to get some professionals in line and this could work out. If they get the rights they plan on making a web series which could bring on a feature film
