I go to the gym by myself the vast majority of the time...but there was a time where I worked out with someone near my level of intensity/weights. We challenged eachother to get better, and we could go to complete failure due to reliable spots. It gets lonely going by yourself I wish I had a partner, seriously.

I personally like working out by myself.

but I know where youre coming from OP.
I think thats just a problem men in general have...the older we get, the more isolated our lives become (just work, family).

I had a dude spark up a convo w/ me one time at the gym...we were in the same industry and he gave me his number :dame:
...but I felt weird about it.
I didnt get those gay vibes from him :whoa:

Disagree. When you have a partner you some times butt heads on what excercise or muscles you wanna train for that day. Also, a lot of times your partner may take too long between sets or talk to you and mess up your groove. Every now and then yea its cool to go with someone otherwise :camby:

I never really had a workout partner, so I don't really know otherwise. But I'm the type that I like to go in, handle business, and dip. My workout would take twice as long if I had someone else with me. As it is, I usually go to the gym around 10-10:30, and the joint is virtually empty at that time. :blessed:
