If you're in NW hit up the 14th and U St. area. Always a lot going on out there, plus you can always roam around U St. if you don't like a certain spot. If you go all the way down to 9th and U there's lots of Ethiopian/Eritrean spots and the women . If you continue down to Florida Ave/Georgia Ave side that's closer to Howard. Florida Ave Grill is a dope food spot also Ben's Chili Bowl.

Adams Morgan is good too. Mostly college aged/post grads crowd. Dupont Circle has its spots.
