Going forward is there any reason to buy a Nintendo system or game on release?

Seriously, if you buy a Nintendo game on day 1 you get the exact same experience as you do on day 800. Its not like on 360/PS3 where if you wait a while the online community will either be dead or so far ahead of you that you cant compete. If you arent there the first month in Halo 4, you can be sure that when you do show up people will know the maps, weapon spawns, etc... and feast off you. Its also not like with Mass Effect or Bioshock where if you wait a long time the story will get spoiled for you, these Nintendo games dont have stories.

With this WiiU im already planning on waiting for either a price drop or until the system is hacked.

its smarter to wait a year or two. By then whatever problems with the hardware would be fixed and the launch titles would be cheaper

With that said I still have my launch PS2 from 2000 and it works perfectly fine, I guess I'm just lucky tho.

Even when it's moddable, they can keep that shyt. I've got my modded wii loaded up with games I never even played yet. Only way I turn that shyt on is by accident.

Thats true, i always think about how i should play some of those games but instead i fire up the 360/PS3.
