I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
The Godfather is one of those wrestlers that you would think nobody would remember, but whenever I talk to friends who were fans of the WWF during the Attitude era, he always gets a fond namedrop. I even remember when the NPTA was citing wrestling as a vulgar and raunchy entertainment, the first wrestler, outside of Stone Cold, that they would complain about would be The Godfather which set up a nice piece in RAW Magazine where they interviewed Charles and let him say his peace on the whole controversy. :salute:

Godfather is my favorite wrestling gimmick of all time. It’s brilliant and the unpredictable set up of offering a ho in exchange for a win is great television whether its primetime or a blow off segment on Shotgun. There were a lot of facets to it they never attempted to explore, but then again they didnt need to. The Goodfather switch up could have had serious legs too. It just trips me out how awesome the character was and we never saw everything that could be done with it

Imagine Godfather having a protege or a stable. Imagine him having a Manolo or a Fredo that was lovable to the crown but a screw up he had to put down in the ring even though he didnt want to
