Give your prediction on Dave East's first week album sales

Whenever his album hits shelves how do you think it will perform first week? He is soon approaching a million followers on IG, has a lot of interest among female fans and old timers like his shtick. The flip side to the coin is it has taken him pretty long time to hit one million followers (especially considering he is on a major) whereas all of his contemporaries are at 2 mil and better plus he has yet to put out any particular song that distinguishes himself from the pack.

I say...40k

He has no buzz whatsoever, no mainstream single/s or any popular single that that shows a glimpse of his full talent (and I don't mean something you can hear off Datpiff or YouTube for free I mean a certified heat-seeker for a single like in the same breathe as a Juicy, Shook Ones Pt. II, Brenda's Got a Baby or In Da Club). I'm not saying he has to have the single of his career but he has nothing at all so I doubt he has the testicular fortitude to sell much if at all.


I like Dave East but he's going double wood - Troy Average style, but unlike Troy he's likeable and has potential to be great
