I trusted my girl enough to give her my credit card. I told her to keep it for emergency purposes and she agreed .

2 months later, I check out of curiosity the balance on my card and it sits at $1000. I gave it to her with a balance of $0.00.

And the nerve of this girl telling me oh I thought you would know it's being used since you can check online ... The worst thing ... A couple of shirts I got as a "gifts" from her was from my credit card

Moral of te story, don't trust anyone with your credit card.

Bad judgment on your part. For "emergency", she's her own person, an adult at that, you shouldn't have to give her card in case of an emergency, if she works; which she should then she should be able to cover herself if there's an emergency. Imagine if you two were to get married.
