Been on a kick making dope playlists on Spotify with a theme. Just made a crazy “redman features” playlist. Got a crazy “jada/styles goin back and forth” mix. Got a “nas features” and “Andre 3000 features” mix. Just made a “quik’s grooves” list. Making a ghost/Rae one right now. I know there’s a bunch of user playlists u can search on Spotify but I like to make my own.

some I’m thinking of are:
thinking of doing a 90’s Bay Area playlist with all the legends from the bay
Jazz songs that hip hop sampled
An old school ugk/ball and mjg mix

etc

It came from this: The original sampled song, then the next song will be a song that sampled it.

Dope Ryhmesayer: Just songs where dudes where spitting crazy.

South shyt: Songs that feel like the south to me. Lot of classics: UGK, Kast, etc.

NY shyt: See above. Nas, Mobb Deep, etc. It has to feel NY.

West Coast shyt: Same

Story time: Rap songs that tell stories: Lodi Daddi, I got a story to tell, summer vacation, like 30 songs

Then I made a jr high, high school, and college years playlist. Each had the biggest/favorite songs from those periods in my life. Its like getting in a time machine.
