Girl I know about not going to her new job today: "I didn't want to go because.."

I can't believe people this stupid exist on this planet. I pretty much screamed "WHAT?!" and told her that was stupid as hell. This is a job that pay 40K/yr, full benefits, paid vacation, etc. This is a chick who given her credentials and education this is a GREAT job.

I couldn't do anything but say "That was so stupid" over and over again to her and rush on the phone.

I think this is a given. She didn't even show up for the first day. No call no show on your first day pretty much puts you out on your ass

I know lots of people like that.

They're usually flighty and such. Funny thing about them is that they work hard and are usually good at their jobs, they just want to move on to something else.

And these people tend to always fall into a new job which probably explains her nonchalance about the whole thing.

3 things it could be in my opinion.

1. Maybe she is overqualified and really could get similar jobs easily.
2. maybe she doesn't really ned the job like that money wise and wants toi hangout all summer (is she young?) and used that as an excuse.
3. She's scared of not being qualified or scared of not being able to hold down a job cause she feels like she's a fukk up so she does it to herself before they do it to her.
