Only thing I hate about the podcast is that it's the crazy shyt they say that goes viral, when they be dropping a lot of jewels on the low. I was just listening to the discussion about Stan Van Gundy and how some of these coaches with egos break young players down. McCants got to talking about a big part of having that veteran influence in the locker room is that they can stand up to coaches more easily and protect the younger players and how they can call out coaches that are bullshytting. It was a dope convo about a player's perspective on how things can go bad that's rarely presented.

Also funny hearing how the groupies ain't nearly as available as everybody thinks before they get to the NBA which I've been saying forever. There's a reason they pass around the same females. They also talked about passing the work off to teammates and teammates falling in love with the same groupie that was passed to them and then cutting them off as friends.

Remember, they filming this shyt at Gils house, Josiah lives down the street, Mccants goes to the same gym so he can't be too far away either

Whenever they talk about coaches ruining young players Mccants looks like he wants to you can tell he really feels like he got a raw deal getting sent to teams with coaches who just flat out disrespected rookies because of tradition and him carrying that animosity until he was out the league

Entering the game in the 2nd quarter, dropping 12 points then sitting on the bench for the rest of the game with no explanation for it from your coach gotta be frustrating as hell

That part was justified. I'm just talking about how everytime the argument was about to die down she'd just throw out the "+3 to Miko" and get him going all over again. Or throwing in just random shots towards him. You can tell she gives her man hell anytime he do something wrong.

This mindset is what probably got him benched

All the points in the world don’t matter if your defense is horrible. You don’t run the offense, bad team chemistry. You putting up empty stats at that point

you missed the "with no explanation from your coach" part breh, I can only go off of what the man said because we aint in the locker room to know, he could be lying through his teeth point is we don't know forreal

and PLENTY of players don't play defense, this argument doesn't even make sense teams have bench players who's job it is to come in and get buckets, not locking down defensively. if you know he's just a microwave scorer then have that conversation with him so there's nothing left for him to question
