U act like Southern nikkaz don't play football :stopitslime:
the minimum salary in the NFL is a several hundred thousand a year. making that kinda money driving a common man's car seems kinda silly. even if you were frugal as hell you would be able to do well better than a throw away car like that.

Does it bother you that much that he prefers his Caprice? He's a second rounder, is not guaranteed another contract after his rookie and can be cut any time. He pays income tax in every state he plays, he's being smart.

being smart would be to buy a brand new car with cash and driving it for 10+ years because if you buy the car and its brand new and you're an NFL player on the road a bit you're not gonna drive the thing to death it'll last.

if his career ends and that's a wrap is he smarter for having that new car that's paid off and good for a decade or more or a car from 1996 that's gotta have some miles on it.

doesn't bother me but i just thought it was weird as hell.

We should be applauding athletes who are spending their money wisely. Don't want to end up on Broke 2.

the article implies he has a souped up chevy caprice. he prolly spent 20k in a car only worth 1500 dollars.

article also says all the cars that got broken into werent even locked.
