Both 1 and 2 were the GOAT films of not only the 80s, but of all time IMO. Question for those old enough to remember the original releases in theatres, why does Ghostbusters 2 get so much hate? Its on par with the original, had the same tone, comedic timing, and that epic villian Vigo. That tunnel ghost train scene and slime in the bathtub scene= instant nightmares as a child

Ghostbusters if my favorite movie of all time and I love 2 just as much. Even compared to movies today it holds up great. When I was a kid I watched the movie almost everyday to the point I wore the tape out.

The first one was a masterpiece it just had those scenes that never get old you could watch it over and over.Everything about it seemed flawless. This is my favorite scene its only a couple minutes but this scene just burnt in my brain for life first time i watched it.

The second one was good but the vigo and the little art nikka was annoying as fukk although that part when he leaves sigorney weavers apartment and his eyes start glowing had me shook.

i loved these movies as a kid.

nobody fukked with the cartoon though?

my whole life i thought the movies were based on the cartoon. i was always mad that slimer wasn't part of the crew in the movies. he was just another ghost they were trying to catch at the hotel :why:

i found out maybe a week ago it was the other way around. :snoop:
