They will, every sequel sony has put out this gen has greatly updated its sidequests
When you make big open world games for the first time it doesn’t really leave a lot of room to refine stuff like that. Thats why i always look forward to sequels, they refine all the other individual systems from the first game.
People may have varying opinions on the plot/stories of the sequels but the gameplay is always objectively better

They should have made the lead protagonist a daughter of some random man Jin killed and you have a mission where you cut Jins head off
I wrote out a whole plot line for what i wanted in a sequel and it was similar to where jin is the antagonist, and you can align yourself closer to him or the shogun.
If there’s a flagship game for the PS5 Pro, this is the one.
