We dont have a choice in cable anymore since cablevision brought out time warner... and verizon is becoming real a$$holes.

Yeah. It's like a bad dream. I have to call optimum this week, I have them in the city and they're my only option for a provider last I knew. The internet is absolutely terrible. It's expensive as well I have basic cable I believe because I have to and internet and it's 70 or 80$ a month.

Upstate I have TW, the internet speed is great and its around 60$ a month for basic and internet. I was paying nearly double until the beginning of the year but it's a long story.

I guess it's not much but it all adds up.


I wouldn't mind having Verizion in the city but don't want to end up getting into a fight with them because they provide my cell service and I have unlimited data for "free" still.


It would be one thing if I was paying 80$ a month and it was really fast, it's not though.

I've havent had any problems with my service yet. i think we're using verizon for the phone and time warner for the cable and tv, but i am seriously considering switching to fios down the line... just because i dont want to deal with comcast once they shyt starts kicking in...

Because America is trying to fukk the internet over by momentizing traffic by volume which directly interferes with technology innovation and evolution. Imagine if these suckers had the know how back then we would still be on 56k modems. The dinosaur policy makers have no understanding of the internet outside of seeking to control it.
