Microsoft's new gaming console Xbox One employs itself the highest political circles. Even Consumer Protection Minister Ilse Aigner now stoked fears of the sensor system.

"A console with voice control that records every movement - which appears many customers like a trojan that they bring into the living room," Aigner told the news magazine 'Focus' (current edition). This technology should have limits. Otherwise let "fear that a device sometime better a man with all moods as he knows himself that would be creepy," stated the Minister.

Aigner required by the manufacturer, the Xbox critical review and to ensure full transparency. "Microsoft needs to urgently clarify the open questions and think about where the line is," said Aigner. "The company must clearly state what happens to the data of the users and how they are processed. Here there are red lines that must not be exceeded."

The stumbling block is the fixed coupling of the game console with the Kinect motion control. These are indeed quite some time now but it was improved even further. For some people, the system awakens the fear that the very good detection of persons in the area and their movements could lead to quasi Microsoft spied the most intimate life of users and queries over the Internet. Besides, good cameras with online connectivity are already long in many computers and televisions that are in households that standard.

Campaigners in the reservations, however, also reflects the conflict between Europe and the United States in the implementation of better data protection law. The attempt of the U.S. Internet industry to prevent stricter rules in the EU by appropriate commitments, has failed, in the opinion of the Minister of Consumer Protection.

"I do not see that the promises were redeemed, and now the policy is," Aigner announced. The Federal Government is to "commit Facebook, Google and other multinationals on the new EU regulation on more privacy." Although the "resistance of U.S. corporations against stricter regulations immense" is. However, "the company also feel the headwinds of many users," said Aigner fixed. "The time of credulity is over."

Wow, its so demonic, friends.
