A former model came forward Friday to accuse “Star Trek” icon George Takei of sexual assault in Los Angeles in the 1980s.

Scott Brunton, an ex-model and actor, said that the alleged groping occurred in 1981 in Takei’s Los Angeles condo after the two had shared a few drinks.

At the time, Brunton was 23 and going through a breakup, he told The Hollywood Reporter.

He and Takei, then in his mid-40s, had become friends after meeting one night in a bar, Brunton said.

Brunton and Takei went out for dinner one night and then the theater.

Takei was “consoling me ..... He was a great ear,” Brunton told The Hollywood Reporter.

Back at the “Star Trek” actor’s condo, the two men each had a drink.

Brunton said he had a second one – but then began to feel dizzy.

“I thought I was going to pass out. I said I need to sit down and he said sit over here and he had the giant yellow beanbag chair,” said Brunton, who added that he believes he passed out for a few minutes.

“The next thing I remember I was coming to and he had my pants down around my ankles and he was groping my crotch and trying to get my underwear off and feeling me up at the same time, trying to get his hands down my underwear,” Brunton said in his interview.

“I came to and said, 'What are you doing?!' I said, 'I don't want to do this,’” Brunton said.

Takei urged him to stay but the then-model said he wanted to leave, Brunton said.

He never reported the incident, but The Hollywood Reporter said it spoke to four of Brunton’s friends who said the former model told them about the alleged assault years ago.

Takei’s spokeswoman, Julia Buchwald, said the star, now 80, was traveling in Australia and not available for comment.

Brunton said he kept the story quiet for years but decided to speak up in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal.

Weinstein, 65, has been accused of sexual assault by more than 100 women in alleged incidents spanning decades.

He’s also been accused of raping several women – which he has denied.

As Weinstein’s story exploded, actor Anthony Rapp also spoke up about an alleged incident between him and actor Kevin Spacey in 1986.

Rapp, who also appears on a “Star Trek” series now, said he was just 14 when Spacey made an aggressive pass at him.

After Rapp spoke up on Oct. 29, Takei made a supportive statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

“When power is used in a nonconsensual situation, it is a wrong," Takei said.

“Men who improperly harass or assault do not do so because they are gay or straight – that is a deflection. They do so because they have the power, and they chose to abuse it.”

Brunton said he was angered when he read Takei’s statement.

"I don't want anything from him but an apology," he says. "I am sure he'll disown all this, I don't know, maybe not."
