Obviously Stevie Wonder exists, but George Clinton is on the short list of greatest living musicians. We really need to appreciate brothers like him who laid a lot of the blueprint for hip hop before hip hop even existed.

Growing up my pops played a ton of funkadelic and once I got into Hip Hop he would let me play a lot of West Coast shxt since it had that same funk feel. Now that I’m older I find myself playing more and more of the original funk records in the whip when I need an ear break from Rap. The levels of musicality and innovation is insane. George definitely deserves all the flowers and more.
